TackQuote sends quote engagement to your own GA4 property server-side, through the Measurement Protocol — so buyer-portal activity shows up next to the rest of your acquisition data without a tag on the page. Two events are sent today: quote_viewed when a buyer opens a quote, and quote_accepted when they accept, each carrying the quote id and value. TackQuote derives a stable client id from the buyer so repeat visits group together instead of looking like new users. Sends are fire-and-forget by contract: a revoked API secret or a Google outage is logged and skipped, never allowed to interfere with a buyer viewing or accepting a quote.

4 steps to connect Google Analytics 4
TackQuote posts events to the GA4 Measurement Protocol collect endpoint using your Measurement ID and API secret. Two fields to connect.
Create a Measurement Protocol API secret
In GA4 Admin → Data Streams, open your web stream and create a Measurement Protocol API secret. Copy it along with the stream's Measurement ID (G-XXXXXXX).
Connect in TackQuote
Paste the Measurement ID and API secret in TackQuote Settings → Integrations → Google Analytics. TackQuote validates them against Google and refuses to store a pair Google rejects.
Confirm events are arriving
Open a quote in the buyer portal and watch for quote_viewed in GA4 Realtime. The connector also has a test button that re-validates the stored credentials.
Decide what counts as a conversion
Mark quote_accepted as a key event in GA4 if you want it counted as a conversion. TackQuote sends the event; the conversion designation lives in your property.
