Integration Overview

How TackQuote connects with Wix

Eliminate manual data entry, prevent shipping or pricing errors, and streamline B2B order execution.

TackQuote connects to Wix Stores through the Wix REST API so you can build quotes from your live product catalog and turn accepted quotes into Wix orders. Because Wix delivers webhooks only to installed Wix Apps rather than to a plain callback URL, TackQuote keeps your catalog, pricing, and inventory current with a scheduled pull that runs every two hours (and on demand whenever you open the quote builder). It's a clean fit for smaller B2B sellers who run their storefront on Wix but need a proper quoting layer on top.

Bi-Directional Sync

Data objects synchronized between systems

Here is exactly how data flows between TackQuote and Wix to maintain complete system alignment.

Product Catalog & Variant Sync

Import SKUs, variants, prices, and product descriptions from Wix into TackQuote price books.

Real-Time Inventory Levels

Check live Wix stock availability before approving high-quantity wholesale quotes.

B2B Sales Order Injection

Convert accepted quotes into fulfilled B2B orders or draft orders inside Wix automatically.

Customer Account & Tier Sync

Map buyer accounts and wholesale customer tags between Wix and TackQuote CRM contacts.

Capabilities

What's included in the Wix connector

Built out-of-the-box for enterprise sales teams, distributors, and manufacturers.

Catalog & Inventory Pull

TackQuote imports your Wix Stores products, variants, prices, and stock levels on a scheduled sync so quotes are always built from current data.

Order Creation on Acceptance

When a buyer accepts a quote, TackQuote creates the corresponding order in Wix with line items and buyer details mapped across. Order creation is not automatic on acceptance: it runs when an active Order Sync Rule targets this connection, or when the buyer checks out against it after you switch on Integrations → Use for checkout.

Variant Support

Wix product options and variants come through as selectable quote line items in the buyer portal.

Buyer Portal Checkout

Accepted quotes can hand off to a hosted checkout so buyers complete payment through your existing Wix storefront flow.

Setup Guide

4 steps to connect Wix

TackQuote connects to Wix Stores via the Wix REST API using an API key. Catalog and inventory refresh on a two-hour scheduled pull plus an on-demand sync.

1

Generate a Wix API key

In your Wix dashboard, create an API key with Stores read/write access and copy it along with your site ID.

2

Connect in TackQuote

Enter your API key and site ID in TackQuote Integrations → Wix. TackQuote verifies access and imports your catalog on first connect.

3

Map order settings

Choose the Wix order status accepted quotes should create and confirm your currency and tax handling.

4

Start quoting

Build quotes from live Wix products. Accepted quotes create Wix orders and appear in your Wix dashboard. This runs once an active Order Sync Rule targets this connection; connecting alone does not enable it.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about Wix

What do I need to connect TackQuote to Wix Stores?

A Wix site with the Stores app installed, a Business plan or higher, and a Wix API key with Stores permissions. Setup is done from TackQuote Integrations without installing a custom Wix App.

Does TackQuote support Wix Stores Catalog V3?

Yes. TackQuote calls Wix GetCatalogVersion (GET /stores/v3/provision/version) and then reads either Catalog V1 (POST /stores-reader/v1/products/query) or Catalog V3 (POST /stores/v3/products/query with cursor paging). A site is on exactly one of those APIs — they are not interchangeable. Stores created or migrated after Catalog V3 rolled out need the V3 reader; the older V1-only connector reported those stores as unsupported.

Is the Wix sync real-time?

Wix delivers events to installed Wix Apps rather than to a plain webhook URL, so TackQuote uses a scheduled pull that runs every two hours, plus an on-demand refresh whenever you open the quote builder. Order creation on acceptance happens immediately.

Do I need a Wix App installed?

No. TackQuote connects with a standard Wix API key — no custom Wix App installation is required.
