Overview
Microsoft Teams + TackQuote
TackQuote posts an adaptive card to Teams on three quote events: when a quote is sent, when a buyer accepts one, and when a quote enters approval. Viewed and rejected quotes produce no Teams message. TackQuote stores one incoming webhook per workspace, so every card goes to the single channel that webhook belongs to. A failed post is logged and dropped rather than retried.
TackQuote connects to Teams using incoming webhook connectors. No app installation required.

How to connect Microsoft Teams
Create a Teams incoming webhook
In Microsoft Teams, right-click the channel you want notifications in → Connectors → Incoming Webhook. Create and copy the webhook URL.Add to TackQuote
Paste the webhook URL in TackQuote Integrations → Microsoft Teams. There is nothing further to configure — the two events that post are fixed.Test and go live
Send a test notification from TackQuote. Once it appears in Teams with the correct formatting, you're ready.

What you get
Teams Webhook Notifications
TackQuote sends an adaptive card on quote sent, on buyer acceptance, and on an approval request. There is no per-event configuration — those three are fixed.
One Channel Per Workspace
TackQuote keeps a single Teams webhook per workspace, so every card goes to the channel that webhook belongs to. Saving a second webhook replaces the first rather than adding a route.
Adaptive Card Format
The quote-sent card carries the quote details, buyer name, amount and an Open-URL action button. The acceptance card carries the quote number, buyer name and amount, and has no action button.
Rep Named On The Sent Card
The quote-sent card shows the rep’s name as a plain fact. A Teams @mention needs an msteams entities block on the card, which TackQuote does not emit, so no rep is ever mentioned — and the acceptance card carries no rep field at all.

Microsoft Teams questions
Does TackQuote support Teams app installation?
Currently, TackQuote uses incoming webhooks for Teams. A native Teams app with deeper integration is on our roadmap.
What permissions do I need to set this up?
Just standard Teams user permissions to create a channel connector — no tenant admin approval is required for incoming webhooks.
Can different quote events go to different Teams channels?
No. TackQuote stores one Teams webhook per workspace, and saving a new one replaces the previous one, so both events always post to the same channel.
