Overview

Stripe + TackQuote

TackQuote's Stripe integration adds a payment collection layer to your quoting workflow. When a buyer accepts a quote, TackQuote can generate a Stripe payment link for the exact quote amount — letting buyers pay by card, ACH, or bank transfer directly from the TackQuote buyer portal. Works alongside any e-commerce platform checkout.

TackQuote connects to Stripe using your API keys. Payment links are generated automatically on quote acceptance.

Where to connect. Setup happens in the seller portal — most connectors under Integrations, the rest on the Settings page named in the setup steps below.

Setup

How to connect Stripe

  1. Connect Stripe

    In TackQuote Settings → Payments → Stripe, click "Connect Stripe" and complete the Stripe OAuth flow. TackQuote will have access to create payment links on your account.

  2. Configure payment triggers

    Choose when payment links are generated: on quote acceptance, on e-signature, or on manual trigger. Set whether payment is required before order fulfillment.

  3. Collect payment

    Buyers see a "Pay now" button in the TackQuote buyer portal. Payment status flows back to TackQuote and optionally to your connected CRM or accounting platform.

Accepted quotes trigger Stripe payment link creation. Buyers can pay by card, ACH debit, or bank transfer — all tracked back to the TackQuote quote.

One-Click Checkout

Payment links are embedded directly in the TackQuote buyer portal. Buyers can pay in one click without leaving the quote experience.

Payment Status Sync

Stripe payment events (paid, failed, refunded) update the TackQuote quote timeline automatically.

Partial Payment Support

Supports deposit and milestone payment configurations. Collect a percentage upfront and the remainder on delivery.

FAQ

Stripe questions

Does TackQuote use Stripe Connect or standard API keys?

Both are supported. Standard API keys work for direct payment collection. Stripe Connect is available for marketplace or multi-tenant setups.

Are Stripe fees deducted from the quote amount?

Stripe fees are collected by Stripe separately. The buyer pays the full quote amount; Stripe's fees are deducted from your payout.
