How TackQuote connects with Mollie

TackQuote's Mollie integration is built for European B2B sellers who need local payment methods rather than cards alone. The buyer starts checkout from the quote portal — acceptance is not the trigger — and TackQuote creates a Mollie payment and redirects them to Mollie's hosted checkout, where iDEAL, SEPA Direct Debit, Bancontact, credit cards and Mollie's other methods are available according to your account. Buyer checkout tries connected gateways in a fixed order, and Mollie sits below Stripe, Authorize.net, Square, Adyen, PayPal and Razorpay — so a quote only reaches Mollie when none of those is connected. Settlement never trusts the notification: Mollie's webhook carries only a payment id, so TackQuote reads the payment back over an authenticated call with your own API key and compares the actual amount and currency against the quote before marking it paid.

4 steps to connect Mollie
TackQuote connects to Mollie with a single API key. The key prefix decides the environment, so there is no sandbox switch to get wrong.
Create an API key
In the Mollie Dashboard go to Developers → API keys. A test_ key creates clickable test payments; a live_ key takes real money.
Add a webhook with your own secret
In Developers → Webhooks, add the TackQuote endpoint shown in Settings → Payments and set a long random signing secret. Mollie signs every delivery with it.
Connect in TackQuote
Enter the API key and the same signing secret in TackQuote Settings → Payments → Mollie.
Go live
The buyer starting checkout is what routes a quote to Mollie, and only when no higher-priority gateway (Stripe, Authorize.net, Square, Adyen, PayPal, Razorpay) is connected. Paid quotes convert once the amount and currency are confirmed against Mollie.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions about Mollie
Do I need to choose between test and live mode in TackQuote?
No. Mollie serves both from the same API, and the key prefix decides which. TackQuote deliberately offers no environment selector for Mollie, so it is impossible to select "sandbox" while pasting a live key.
What happens if a webhook is delayed or delivered twice?
Nothing incorrect. Each settlement is claimed once, and a repeated delivery re-reads the same payment from Mollie and reaches the same conclusion, so a quote cannot be paid twice or converted twice.
