Integration Overview
How TackQuote connects with Sage Intacct
Eliminate manual data entry, prevent shipping or pricing errors, and streamline B2B order execution.
TackQuote connects to Sage Intacct through its XML Gateway (Web Services) so quotes are built from live item records and accepted quotes are written back as Sage Intacct order-entry documents. Item data refreshes on a two-hour scheduled pull plus an on-demand refresh, and documents are created when an accepted quote matches an active Order Sync Rule — closing the loop between quoting and your financials. The buyer must already exist as a Sage Intacct customer; TackQuote maps to the customer id on the quote and does not create customer records.
Bi-Directional Sync
Data objects synchronized between systems
Here is exactly how data flows between TackQuote and Sage Intacct to maintain complete system alignment.
Master Price Book Sync
Sync contract pricing matrices, volume discount tiers, and customer-specific price books from Sage Intacct.
Sales Order & Invoice Post
Post accepted quotes directly as sales orders or accounts receivable invoices into Sage Intacct GL accounts.
Net Terms & Credit Limit Check
Validate buyer credit balances and payment terms in Sage Intacct before enabling Net-30 quote checkout.
Tax Code & AR Ledger Mapping
Align tax jurisdiction codes and line-item revenue accounts across Sage Intacct and TackQuote.
Capabilities
What's included in the Sage Intacct connector
Built out-of-the-box for enterprise sales teams, distributors, and manufacturers.
Item & Price Sync
TackQuote pulls Sage Intacct items and pricing into the quote builder on a scheduled cadence.
Order Entry Document Creation
Accepted quotes create Sage Intacct Order Entry transactions (create_sotransaction) with items and the customer id mapped across. Order creation is not automatic on acceptance: it runs when an active Order Sync Rule targets this connection, or when the buyer checks out against it after you switch on Integrations → Use for checkout.
Existing Customer Mapping
Order Entry documents are filed against the Sage Intacct customer id carried on the quote. TackQuote does not create or update customer records in Sage Intacct.
Order Entry Document Import
Sage Intacct Order Entry documents are pulled back into TackQuote orders on the same scheduled cadence, so quoting and fulfilment stay in step.
Setup Guide
4 steps to connect Sage Intacct
TackQuote connects to Sage Intacct via Web Services using sender and user credentials. Items refresh every two hours; documents are pushed only when an accepted quote matches an active Order Sync Rule.
Enable Web Services
In Sage Intacct, enable Web Services, authorize a sender ID, and create a Web Services user with order-entry and customer permissions.
Connect in TackQuote
Enter your company ID, sender credentials, and user login in TackQuote Integrations → Sage Intacct. TackQuote begins the item sync.
Choose what imports
Confirm item and price mapping, then choose whether the scheduled import pulls items, Order Entry documents, or both.
Go live
Build quotes from live Sage Intacct items. Accepted quotes create order-entry documents against your existing Sage Intacct customers. This runs once an active Order Sync Rule targets this connection; connecting alone does not enable it.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions about Sage Intacct

What do I need to connect TackQuote to Sage Intacct?
Web Services enabled with an authorized sender ID and a Web Services user with order-entry and customer permissions, plus TackQuote Pro plan or above.
