Overview

Zen Cart + TackQuote

TackQuote brings structured B2B quoting to Zen Cart, the long-established open-source cart. Because Zen Cart has no core REST API or outbound webhooks, TackQuote uses a lightweight connector to read your catalog and stock and create orders, refreshing data on a two-hour scheduled pull plus an on-demand sync. It's built for established Zen Cart merchants who want a professional quote-to-order workflow without replatforming.

TackQuote connects to Zen Cart through a lightweight connector. Catalog and stock refresh every two hours with an on-demand pull available.

Where to connect. Setup happens in the seller portal — most connectors under Integrations, the rest on the Settings page named in the setup steps below.

FAQ

Zen Cart questions

Why does Zen Cart need a connector?

Zen Cart has no built-in REST API or outbound webhooks, so TackQuote ships a lightweight connector that exposes catalog and order endpoints securely. Data syncs on a two-hour cadence with an on-demand refresh.

What do I need to set up the Zen Cart integration?

Zen Cart 1.5.7 or later, the TackQuote connector installed on your store, and HTTPS access. TackQuote Starter plan or above is required.

Will this replatform or modify my Zen Cart storefront?

No. The connector only exposes read/write endpoints for catalog and order data — your storefront theme, checkout, and customer experience are untouched.
