Qlik reads from data files, not from an inbox — there is no API that accepts rows directly into an app. TackQuote works with that rather than around it: each push uploads a quote-fact CSV and a KPI CSV into the Qlik Cloud space you choose, replacing the previous copies, and then triggers a reload of your app so the dashboards built on those files pick the new data up. Point a simple LOAD script at the two files once, and every push afterwards refreshes what your analysts already use.

4 steps to connect Qlik Cloud
TackQuote uploads two CSVs to your Qlik Cloud space with your API key, then reloads your app if you configured one. Everything it reports comes from Qlik’s actual responses.
Create a Qlik API key
In Qlik Cloud, generate a personal API key and note your tenant URL (for example https://your-tenant.eu.qlikcloud.com).
Connect in TackQuote
Enter the tenant URL and key in TackQuote Integrations → Qlik Sense, plus a space id if you want the files somewhere other than your personal space.
Point an app at the files
Create an app that loads tackquote_quotes.csv and tackquote_kpis.csv from the DataFiles library, and build your sheets on it.
Add the app id
Paste that app’s id into the connection so every push triggers a reload and your dashboards move on their own.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions about Qlik Cloud
Why data files instead of pushing rows straight into an app?
Because Qlik has no API that accepts rows into an app. Data files plus a reload is the supported path, so that is the one this connector uses rather than inventing an endpoint that does not exist.
What happens if I do not set an app id?
The CSVs upload and the push stops there. Nothing is reloaded, because until an app reads those files there is nothing to reload — the connector reports that rather than implying a refresh happened.
Does TackQuote read anything back from Qlik?
Only what it needs to do its job: it resolves your available spaces and data-file connections so you can pick a target, and reads the reload status after triggering one. No analytics come back into TackQuote.
