Integration Overview

How TackQuote connects with Oracle Fusion

Eliminate manual data entry, prevent shipping or pricing errors, and streamline B2B order execution.

TackQuote integrates with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP through its REST APIs so quotes are built from live item records and accepted quotes are written back as Oracle sales orders. Item, price, and inventory data refresh on a two-hour scheduled pull plus an on-demand refresh, and orders and customer records are pushed when an accepted quote matches an active Order Sync Rule.

Bi-Directional Sync

Data objects synchronized between systems

Here is exactly how data flows between TackQuote and Oracle Fusion to maintain complete system alignment.

Master Price Book Sync

Sync contract pricing matrices, volume discount tiers, and customer-specific price books from Oracle Fusion.

Sales Order & Invoice Post

Post accepted quotes directly as sales orders or accounts receivable invoices into Oracle Fusion GL accounts.

Net Terms & Credit Limit Check

Validate buyer credit balances and payment terms in Oracle Fusion before enabling Net-30 quote checkout.

Tax Code & AR Ledger Mapping

Align tax jurisdiction codes and line-item revenue accounts across Oracle Fusion and TackQuote.

Capabilities

What's included in the Oracle Fusion connector

Built out-of-the-box for enterprise sales teams, distributors, and manufacturers.

Item & Price Sync

TackQuote pulls Oracle Fusion items and price lists into the quote builder on a scheduled cadence.

Sales Order Creation

Accepted quotes create Oracle Fusion sales orders with items, quantities, customer, and terms mapped across. Order creation is not automatic on acceptance: it runs when an active Order Sync Rule targets this connection, or when the buyer checks out against it after you switch on Integrations → Use for checkout.

Buyer → Customer Mapping

Orders are filed against the Oracle Fusion customer mapped to the buyer. Where no mapping exists the order is posted unattributed and logged, rather than being refused. TackQuote does not create customer accounts.

Inventory Awareness

On-hand inventory by organization pulls into TackQuote for accurate availability.

Setup Guide

4 steps to connect Oracle Fusion

TackQuote connects to Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP via the REST APIs using a service account. Items refresh every two hours; sales orders are pushed only when an accepted quote matches an active Order Sync Rule.

1

Provision an integration user

In Oracle Fusion, create an integration user with the roles needed to read items and price lists and to create order management orders.

2

Connect in TackQuote

Enter your Fusion instance URL and service credentials in TackQuote Integrations → Oracle Fusion, plus the Business Unit ID orders should be created in. Oracle requires a business unit on every sales order, so item sync will run without it but order push will not.

3

Map items and order defaults

Confirm price list and inventory organization mapping and set the order defaults used on acceptance. If your instance registers order-capture systems, set the Source Transaction System code here too — TackQuote sends "TACK" unless you change it.

4

Go live

Build quotes from live Oracle Fusion items. Accepted quotes create sales orders and matched customers once an active Order Sync Rule targets this connection — connecting alone does not enable it.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about Oracle Fusion

Does this integrate with Oracle Order Management?

Yes. Accepted quotes create orders through the Order Management REST resources. Exact order type and defaults are set during configuration.

What do I need to connect TackQuote to Oracle Fusion?

An integration user with order management and product data roles, the Business Unit ID orders should be created in, and network access from TackQuote to your Fusion instance. The business unit is required because Oracle rejects a sales order without one. TackQuote Pro plan or above is required.

How does TackQuote send the prices from my quote?

When a quote line carries a price, TackQuote marks the order as priced in the source application and sends the amounts through Oracle's documented charge structure, so your quoted price is what lands on the order rather than being recalculated by Fusion pricing. Leave line prices off if you would rather Oracle Pricing decide.

How current is item and inventory data in TackQuote quotes?

Items, price lists, and on-hand inventory refresh on a two-hour scheduled pull plus an on-demand refresh, while orders push to Oracle Fusion only when an accepted quote matches an active Order Sync Rule.
