Integration Overview

How TackQuote connects with weclapp

Eliminate manual data entry, prevent shipping or pricing errors, and streamline B2B order execution.

TackQuote connects to weclapp through its REST API so quotes are built from live article records and accepted quotes are written back as weclapp sales orders. Because weclapp keeps articles, prices and stock in three separate resources, TackQuote reads all three — so a quoted line carries the real sell price and the real available quantity rather than a name and a guess. Buyers are matched to weclapp parties by email, and new ones are created as customer parties where needed. Order writes are gated on an active Order Sync Rule targeting this connection — connecting alone does not enable them.

Bi-Directional Sync

Data objects synchronized between systems

Here is exactly how data flows between TackQuote and weclapp to maintain complete system alignment.

Master Price Book Sync

Sync contract pricing matrices, volume discount tiers, and customer-specific price books from weclapp.

Sales Order & Invoice Post

Post accepted quotes directly as sales orders or accounts receivable invoices into weclapp GL accounts.

Net Terms & Credit Limit Check

Validate buyer credit balances and payment terms in weclapp before enabling Net-30 quote checkout.

Tax Code & AR Ledger Mapping

Align tax jurisdiction codes and line-item revenue accounts across weclapp and TackQuote.

Capabilities

What's included in the weclapp connector

Built out-of-the-box for enterprise sales teams, distributors, and manufacturers.

Article, Price & Stock Sync

TackQuote reads weclapp articles, their price rows and warehouse stock, so reps quote against real prices and real availability.

Sales Order Creation

Accepted quotes create weclapp sales orders with articles, quantities, agreed unit prices and the buyer party mapped across. Order creation is not automatic on acceptance: it runs when an active Order Sync Rule targets this connection, or when the buyer checks out against it after you switch on Integrations → Use for checkout.

Party Matching

Buyers are matched to weclapp parties by email and created as customer parties when they do not exist yet.

Standalone Stock Refresh

Because weclapp exposes stock as its own resource, quantities can refresh without rewriting your whole catalog.

Setup Guide

4 steps to connect weclapp

TackQuote connects to weclapp with your tenant subdomain and an API token. Products refresh on a schedule; sales orders are pushed only when an accepted quote matches an active Order Sync Rule.

1

Create a service user

In weclapp, create a dedicated user for the integration with access to articles, parties and sales orders. Generating a token invalidates that user’s previous tokens, so a shared human account would break the sync unexpectedly.

2

Generate an API token

As that user, go to My Settings → API and generate a token. Permissions follow the token user, so a restricted user keeps the integration tightly scoped.

3

Connect in TackQuote

Enter your weclapp subdomain and the token in TackQuote Integrations → weclapp. Optionally set a sales channel and warehouse.

4

Go live

Build quotes from live weclapp articles. Accepted quotes create sales orders against the matched party. This runs once an active Order Sync Rule targets this connection; connecting alone does not enable it.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about weclapp

Why does TackQuote ask for a dedicated weclapp user?

Because weclapp allows one API token per user, and generating a new token invalidates the previous one. If the integration shared a person’s token, that colleague regenerating their own token would silently break your sync. A dedicated user also lets you scope permissions tightly, since a token inherits its user’s access.

Does TackQuote use my customer-specific weclapp prices?

Not in the shared catalog. weclapp supports per-customer contract pricing, but a catalog is synced once per tenant and shown to every buyer, so writing one buyer’s negotiated rate into it would expose that rate to everyone. The catalog uses your list or channel price.
